Get ready to flex your creative muscles, Insider! In honor of Autism Awareness Month, we’re inviting YOU to take part in an Insider-only LIVE virtual art demonstration with local eco-artist and special needs advocate Grant Maniér, hosted by Houston Life's Derrick Shore and KPRC 2 Meteorologist Justin Stapleton.
Grant is super excited to share his passion with you. He’ll take you step by step as he combines his two worlds of autism and art, and you can either watch or join the fun and follow along!
All you’ve gotta do is to RSVP, so we’ll know to expect you!
At the end of the event, two lucky Insiders will be chosen to win a Grant Maniér original signed by the artist himself.
It’s all happening Wednesday, April 28 from 1 – 1:45 p.m. in the comfort of your own home.
If you’d like to follow along, here’s what you’ll need:
-stationary paper (8 1/2x11) (sky blue background)
-wallpaper or construction paper (green for leaves and landscape)
-craft paper/scrapbook paper/specialty paper (12x12) (yellow)
-brown puzzles (for flower center seeds)
-mod podge for glazing to seal it
Grant’s mom says what you don’t have at home, you can purchase from your local craft store.
We can’t wait to see you!
